when im leaving.

so the dates have changed due to a few things.

insted of me getting back home on the 17th i now get home on the 13th. so yay for that.

although I was looking fowared to kenya* im glad im coming home earlier.

*i thought about how it would all be and i thought that hangen with my dad on a safari for three days would be awesome...

im excited about coming home and its approaching quite fast... and its kind of strange too... ( the feelings always come after i do something... for example. when i go home, when i get home i will probably feel sad about leaving after ive already left... haha yay for delayed reactions... )
but that doesnt have to do with thinking about a situation and the outcome and things i have to deal with( i think quite far ahead sometimes... sometimes with out knowing how to get there) anyway. i hope you all are having a wonderful day!

Recording in the studio

So on Wednesday I recorded. A song. Just one. But im glad and it turned out very well too. Except for the djembe ( a drum). So here are the lyrics.
Its called “Bright Like Stars”
As the sun falls below the earth,
The most beautiful part of the day commences,
As the colors explode from the epicenter
From the wonderful disturbance in the sky
Where the first few stars shine bright
And the moon shows himself.

But when the moon hides its face from the sun
And the stars refuse to shine upon the earth,
Darkness spreads, as does the night,
As it quickly encompasses what was once light.


Christians… why do you hide? It only leads to tough trials later on. (where you question your faith because you are faithless)
This isn’t some “nice religion” you can just go to and say… “well this one seems nice. I think this fits my personality.” First off, its not religion but salvation.

Im going to go into detail to what I mean in the lyrics.
the sun represents a smooth life where nothing is going wrong and everything’s just great and dandy and we feel like we dont need anything, and so when things start to get complicated is when things start to show.

The colors that “explode from the epicenter” represent the fruits and good actions revealing a good Godly character when we are faced with opposition, because that’s when you can tell what kind of person someone is.

(When our faults are exposed and things get tough how do we face things? )

The “wonderful disturbance” represents the lessons learned from hard times, it represents how God heats things up in order to make things pure after their finished or another example would be how a carpenter uses sand paper to smooth out wood so that he can use it while building a chair.
Then the stars that shine bright is a light in the darkness after we have been shaped by God, (see Philippians 2)
And the moon that “shows himself” is who we really are in Christ. And people see that.

So that is what the first part means,
I think with the first part in mind you can figure it out. Its not too hard…
Basicly, it goes back to what I was first saying about not hiding your self and Letting your light shine. Why hide how you are in Christ? It only leads to bad things.(you reap what you sow)

so ive been thinking about renaming the band again(what number is this? Like the 5th name? maybe the 7th? Haha).
I think im going to go with The Shepherds Sheep (the name of my blog) but I think it’s a better name. the other ones too strange looking and sleepy sheeps isn’t serious enough. ( not to say we are really serious people. Or to say that we are looking to get famous, but rather just finding a good that is appropriate with the content.)
Anyway. I hope this has affected you in some way. Because I think that’s the goal of a blog. (at least some) to show people whats on their hearts in order that people may think about something or reflect on an experience that someone has shared.

I climbed a mountain yesterday.

Hello everyone. i climbed a mountian yesterday... it was absolutely amazing and word do not discribe the Glory of God. even though that was just a small mountain in a big world that God has constructed. its amazing. but yeah here are some pictures!
