This is my first post, and i just thought i would start by saying that Love, is an anthem, my
anthem.
An anthem to go by everyday, an anthem in which this world sometimes forgets.
I want to say that I am a Christian Discovered By Gods Love! I believe that it is our job, my job, to spread and show and actually love everyone you meet.
I believe that love is only true unless it is in your intentions. it comes down deep into our heart. Do we truly Love the people we talk to? we should. do you truly love God? Enough to say, "God, your will be done." and actually mean it? we should.
As Mr. Billy Kellough would say. "You got to Love folk!" and i really believe i do.

This world is so casual. with many things, such as love... which breaks my heart, because love is not casual, it is not just here. it IS the most intimate form of communication in which every tongue understands! ... im getting excited now... =)
I want you to read this piece of scripture. I think many of you kind of know what im talking about already.
1 corinthians 13
Check this out, read this, take it to heart.
"1If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,[b] but have not love, I gain nothing.
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. People think that Christians are Hypocrites. We are. How can this be in what we believe yet not Live it? D'you think that we are just in this for fun? we look at life on this earth as it is more important than life with God and following Him. If God is the creator of the universe, the all mighty, if he is everything!!! than why do we act like there are more important things?
thats why people think were hypocrites. they see us doing everything the world is.
What if we actually Did something with all of our hearts? What if we had God backing us? (oh by the way, we do. just thought id let you know that) What if? what if? no more what ifs!
I challenge you to put an action to our words and Genuinely do something in Love. if the people in Acts can do it we can too. in fact, paul in acts 14, was stoned(had rocks throwen at him for those of you who dont know. no, he didnt hit up some lotus flower or anything. ) then dragged half dead and left outside of the city. BUT He came back to them because he loved them. would you go back to someone who tried to kill you? sounds crazy right? no! its not!
remember that Jesus became one of us suffering the same things we did and conquered sin and death. he could have just said... ok well. yeah, your on your own, im getting beat up and frankly you dont even care...
But because he LOVED us he endured suffering and built a bridge for us to Father God in heaven so that we can salvation by Faith Alone, and not of works.
thats why people think were hypocrites. they see us doing everything the world is.

For those of you who dont know,
I am going to go to uganda. For a little less than three months (from sept 22nd to dec 17th) to teach music to youth and adults. (not too sure but i will find out when i get there) but it will be in class form.
but i leave in a week. as of today. which scares me thinking about it. but Love is my anthem, and God is backing me. so His will be done.
