So today was the end of a medical clinic we put on in namatala, I wish I had some pictures of it but I was working cleaning wounds and directing people to doctors that I just didn't get the chance.
Also, it brings a lot of attention to yourself particularly from children that want their picture taken so that that can see themselves in the camera. It's funny, but it really makes a scene with a large crowd of kids pulling on you. Which is fun. But not when you need to fix bloody people.

Weve planted gardens, played with kids, handed out packets of clothing and shoes and toys and soap, and caused kids to have faces plastered with glue and glitter... That was a mistake. Haha It's been a really interesting time here in Uganda per working with a team showing the love of Christ through action. Every time I've been in a team in Africa it's been evangelistic. But you know, both methods are evangelistic so long as your heart is one with Christ. That is, if you can discern between your own feeling and the action motivated by Christ.  That being said, our team is young. But enthusiastic.  Yet it leads me to be weary. But of what credence am I to be weary?  We are doing the work of Christ. This reminds me of Philippians 1 when there were people preaching the word of Christ with wrong motives, yet because the name of Christ was being proclaimed, it was of no matter, not that anyone on our team intentionally came with wrong motives. There's no sense in resisting those who are against you if they are furthering the name of Christ and in our case, what matter are attitude issues if the word of Christ is being preached?  Of course if you are in fellowship we should desire to show the heart motivated by Christ himself that they might take conviction and ask Christ to become the master of their hearts.

The last few days have been great. And it's almost been a week since I've been here. Haley has also been awesome. The spirit really speaks through her in the mornings when we have group prayer and bible study. She's awesome. Getting to know my team has been a wonderful endeavor requiring my heart to listen and not to speak, and when I do that, I see beautiful unique workers in the kingdom of God.  I'm happy here. And I'm happy to be here. I'm going to be a busy bee next week with jerad.  I was going to post some pictures, but I can't upload pictures on my iPhone.

From the sheep who thanks the Shepherd that reminds me to have a quiet heart,

Scottry- Ps I'm not going to check if auto correct made words what they shouldn't be. So that should be funny.
